A career that started 28 years ago, now 47 years of age, Walter Smith's
commitment to good health, nutrition and fitness is evident through
his youthful physique. Drug free body building is a way of life for
this Kansas City, Missouri Native. Currently residing in Columbus,
Ohio, Walter has demonstrated how life gets better
with age! Focused on his life long dream of becoming a professional body builder while wrongfully incarcerated 11 years, Walter trained, with dedication, accordingly. Five months following his DNA exoneration and release from prison, Walter realized his dream winning his first contest consequently becoming a professional body builder. Amateur titles to his credit are: 1. 1997 Mike Francios/World Gym Classic, Light Heavy Weight and Overall Champion. 2. 1999 NPC Masters Nationals, Light Heavy Weight Champion. Professional titles consist of: 1. 1997 WNBF United States Natural Championship, Heavy Weight and Overall Champion. 2. 1998 WNBF World Championship, Open Class, Fifth Place. 3. 2003 WNBF Pro Natural American Championship, Open Class First Place Champion. 4. 2003 WNBF Pro Natural Gatorz Mr. Universe Championship, Second Place Heavy Weight. 5. 2003 WNBF Pro Natural International Championship, Heavy Weight and Overall Champion. |
